A small precious relic; late 18th century to early 19th century, with silver threads twisted in the technique of the so-called monastic works and mounted on wine-red and blue silk fabric; in the centre a relic strip of inscribed paper with the note: "S. Innocentii M. " - one of the holy martyrs - Sanctus Innocentii Magnus (Saint Innocent the Great - Saint Innocentius was an early Christian martyr from what is now Saint-Maurice in the canton of Valais, Switzerland; small pearls and elaborately cut glass beads are mounted around the relic, one glass bead has come loose and two small elements as well (see photos); the relic is mounted in a small oval casket made of cardboard and leather and a glass pane; the leather lid is embossed with ornaments and a text: RELIQUIE SANCTII INNOCENTII; traces of use according to age (see photos); dimensions: 6 x 7.5 cm.
