Large antique perfume bottle from Russia around 1900; this bottle comes from the famous perfumery (парфюмерiя) "Rallet & Cie - О-Де-КОЛОНЪ (Eau de Cologne)"; Rallet was a classic perfume house founded in Moscow in 1843 by "Alphonse Rallet", who lived from 1819 to 1894; by 1900, Rallet was Russia's preeminent producer of fine perfumes and was the official supplier to the royal courts of Russia, Persia and Montenegro; in 1917 the company was re-established in France; thus the bottle dates from before 1917; on the back pressed glass mark and coat of arms label; on the front almost all labels present; stopper in crown form; a very rare and valuable glass object (museum piece); traces of use according to age (see photos); dimensions: approx. 16,5 cm
