Elaborately crafted heraldic applique (badge - decorative element) with "coat of arms shield under prick helmet with noble crown" made of blackened silver (Tula / Niello?), around 1900; gilded and with elements of brass on the reverse; made in the style of the 16th - 17th century. Century; this object could have adorned a uniform, a book or also a casket; no hallmarks; an interesting object for collectors of coats of arms and collections of heraldry; traces of use according to age; dimensions: approx. 4 x 4,5 cm - weight: 9,87 g
