Silver Riegelhaube Bavaria around 1830 - 1850

Silver Riegelhaube, handmade and embroidered with floral ornaments (Antike Trachtenhaube) from Bavaria with original box; around 1830 - 1850; beautifully patinated; elaborately worked Riegelhaube which was probably worn by a wealthy lady; history says that silver bonnets were worn by unmarried women, golden bonnets by married women and black bonnets by widowed women; bonnet base, bonnet rim and bow are in good condition; folk art from the Biedermeier period; traces according to age and use; measurements (see photos); dimensions cardboard: ca. 19 x 20.5 x 9 cm - dimensions bonnet: approx. 17.5 x 15 cm
