Collector’s Bottle – Vintage Ouzo Bottle from Greece (1960s) (englisch); Unusual and charming: Vintage glass bottle in the shape of a soldier of the Greek Royal Guard (Evzone, Εύζωνες), made in Greece in the 1960s. Originally filled with ouzo by the company Potopas – Athens (ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΗΣ ΚΑΤΑΣΚΕΥΗΣ – ΕΜΦΙΑΛΟΥΤΑΙ ΠΑΡΑ ΤΗΣ ΠΟΤΟΠΑΣ – Ν. ΚΑΒΑΡΑΤΖΗΣ Ο.Ε – ΕΛΛΗΣΠΟΝΤΟΥ 13, ΒΥΡΩΝ, ΑΘΗΝΑΙ). The bottle is empty and shows age-related wear: the glass body has some staining, the felt clothing is dusty with some bald spots, the gold ribbon is partially soiled, and the original felt hat is missing, exposing the cork stopper.
