This museum-quality sample card is completely fitted with 13 fine fashion accessories, consisting of 5 elegant dress clips and 8 belt buckles or decorative buckle elements. The pieces fascinate through their masterfully processed early plastics such as Galalith, Celluloid, or Bakelite and metal in vivid black, red, green, etc.; refined with colorful hand-painted details, geometric patterns, and fine metal elements. All objects remain in untouched, unused condition and are originally sewn onto the cardboard display board. Two objects appear to be missing from the card; these missing pieces bear witness to the historical use of this original sales card, as coveted sample pieces were often detached on-site as working samples during customer presentations in the 1930s. The mark of origin Czechoslovakia is stamped onto the metal clips of detached reference pieces from other cards in this series (see photos).
