Products description
This rare original money box in the shape of a classic fireplace originates from the renowned Belgian company Ciney and was produced in the period between 1930 and 1940 presumably as an exclusive promotional gift for customers or dealers.
The object is made of solid cast iron and impresses with a beautiful enameling in a dark wine red, while the front side, decorated with silver-colored ventilation grilles in a chrome look, reflects the design of the original large stoves of this era true to detail. On the front is the Ciney logo as an elegant relief and also the back shows the brand name as well as the slot for the coin insertion for saving money, whereby the box is closed on the back with an original screw that has not been tested by us for its functionality. The money box is in quite good original condition with a charming patina and shows rust spots on the back common for its age, which however underline the authentic character of this industrial collector's piece.
