Antique 4711 pocket perfume bottle, watch-shaped glass flacon with metal sprinkler and cork stopper, circa 1900

Charming and rare collector's item of historical perfume culture. An antique, flat pocket and pocket-watch-shaped flacon from the famous brand 4711 by Mülhens Cologne. The round glass bottle impresses with the brand logo embossed in relief on the glass, featuring the lettering No. 4711 and the signature bell.

The French embossing "PARFUMERIE 4711" on the metal sprinkler as well as the bell embossed in the glass with the variation "N° 4711" are typical of the international orientation of the house of Mülhens during this era. Due to its flat, pocket-watch-like shape, this small bottle was the ideal companion for fine ladies or gentlemen on the go. These flacons were produced by Mülhens primarily around 1900 up until the 1920s.

The historical glass is empty and in very fine, well-kept collector's condition with minor signs of wear consistent with age; dimensions: 8.5 cm; a wonderful unique piece for lovers of antique scent bottles, steampunk enthusiasts, and 4711 brand collectors.
