Antique Powder Box Victor Vaissier Violettes Rêvées 1890 Art Nouveau

This beautiful and extremely rare antique cardboard box from the line "Violettes Rêvées No. 1110" by the famous Parisian soap and perfume manufacturer Victor Vaissier dates from the early Art Nouveau era around 1890 to 1900. The magnificent label features a highly decorative motif with an antique vase, delicate violet blossoms, and elegant Art Nouveau ornaments. Measuring approx. 5.3 cm in diameter and approx. 2.2 cm in height, it is a particularly charming round cardboard box covered on the sides with fine red paper.

Victor Vaissier was among the most renowned producers of French luxury soaps and boudoir items during the late Belle Époque. The antique box features a magnificent original label on the lid and still contains an old cotton ball inside. Early cardboard packaging by Victor Vaissier from before 1900 represents exceptionally rare collector's items.
