Products description

This rare antique perfume flacon originates from the world-famous Ingrid series by the Curt Schlevogt company from Gablonz, circa 1939. The object is crafted from blue lapis glass (lapis lazuli imitation glass) and features a relief-like, raised decor with stylized iris blossoms in the late Art Déco style. The underside retains its original paper label reading "Curt Schlevogt Gablonz - Ingrid – Sudetengau". The black bakelite screw cap is fitted with the original glass applicator rod (dauber). Depending on the version and production batch, these were equipped ex works with different caps. With its compact dimensions of approx. 4 x 5,7 x 1,8 cm, it is a particularly charming execution. The flacon is documented in the 1939 Schlevogt sample catalog under model number 126/M (sample images Schlevogt 1939, image 46, Ingrid 1=2 flacon No. 126/M from the Ingrid Schlevogt collection). A refined collector's item of Bohemian glass art from the late 1930s; age-appropriate signs of wear; the item is offered without a display stand.
