Art Deco Brilliantine Flacon by Mury, Paris, Le Narcisse Bleu, 1930s

This beautiful and extremely rare antique glass bottle from the legendary series "Le Narcisse Bleu" by the Parisian perfume house Mury dates from the heyday of Art Deco between 1925 and 1938. The iconic design of the original outer box with stylized narcissi on a deep blue background is among the finest classics in French boudoir history. Measuring approx. 10 x 6 x 2 cm, it is the original bottle for liquid hair brilliantine ("Brillantine extra fluide No. 1545"), offered together with its rare original packaging.

The elegant glass flacon features a beautiful narcissus relief as well as the embossed Mury lettering. The small round original label as well as the blue cap are preserved, as is the decorative packaging with advertising notes on hair care on the sides. Fine cardboard boxes and special flacons by Mury were produced only during this era up until the end of the 1930s. An exclusive collector's item for lovers of historical and elegant Art Deco boudoir decoration; on the back, the cardboard shows light abrasion to the printed area; signs of wear corresponding to age; the object is offered without a display.
