Art Deco Luxury Powder Box Mury Paris Le Narcisse Bleu Lido 1930 Antique

This beautiful and extremely rare antique cardboard box from the legendary rice powder line "Poudre de Riz - Le Narcisse Bleu" by the Parisian perfume house Mury dates from the heyday of Art Deco between 1925 and 1938. The iconic design featuring stylized narcissi on a deep blue background is among the finest classics in French boudoir history. Measuring approx. 8 x 8 x 3.5 cm, it is a particularly impressive, square luxury edition in the rare shade "LIDO".

Inside, the white cardboard sealing the powder contents remains clean and undamaged. Alongside the listed shades, it bears the purple stamped imprint of the nuance Lido. On the bottom is the printed label of the Australian importing company "Affiliated Products Sydney" as well as an old handwritten note. Fine cardboard packaging by Mury was produced only during this era up until the end of the 1930s.
