Art Deco Powder Boxes, Le Narcisse Bleu, Rouge by Mury, around 1930, Boudoir Decor, 1920s 1930s

This exclusive set of 2 antique cardboard boxes from the legendary care series Le Narcisse Bleu by the Parisian perfume house Mury dates from the heyday of Art Deco between 1925 and 1938. Original French Art Deco cardboard packaging by the renowned Parfumerie Mury (Paris) featuring the iconic floral narcissus graphic design.

The set consists of two round boxes of different sizes: The smaller box measures approx. 4 cm in diameter and approx. 1.5 cm in height, while the larger box measures approx. 4.8 cm in diameter and approx. 1.7 cm in height. Both undersides bear the rare imprint referring to distribution in Sydney, Australia at that time. The cardboard boxes are fantastically preserved and genuine highlights for collectors; inside the boxes, the original contents as well as protective papers and powder puffs are still preserved. Fine cardboard packaging by Mury was produced only during this era up until the end of the 1930s. A dream ensemble for lovers of elegant Art Deco boudoir decoration; signs of wear corresponding to age; the objects are offered without a display.
