Art Deco Shampoo Box by Mury, Paris, Narcisse Bleu 1930, Rare Cardboard Box with Contents

This beautiful and extremely rare antique cardboard box from the legendary care line "Narcisse Bleu" by the Parisian perfume house Mury dates from the heyday of Art Deco between 1925 and 1938. The iconic design featuring stylized pale green narcissi on a deep blue background is among the finest classics in French boudoir history. Measuring approx. 13.5 x 11.8 x 2.5 cm, it is the original hinged presentation box for dry shampoo packets, whose elaborate interior print reflects contemporary design.

Inside the box are original preserved individual shampoo packets made of cardboard with the inscription "Shampooing Mury Paris - Dose pour 1 Litre", each measuring approx. 4.2 x 2.7 x 2.2 cm. On the outer box, a remnant of an original adhesive tape is still present. Fine cardboard packaging by Mury was produced only during this era up until the end of the 1930s. A rare piece for collectors of elegant Art Deco boudoir decoration; signs of wear corresponding to age; the object is offered without a display.
