This exceptional set unites two iconic perfumes from Myrurgia from different decades, showcasing the artistic signature of Spanish perfumery.
The first bottle is from the period around 1933 to 1940 and contains the fragrance "Embrujo de Sevilla." The octagonal polygon bottle with a brass screw cap holds approximately 40 to 50 ml and is still originally sealed and full. The golden label underscores the elegant appeal of this collector's item.
The second bottle is the fragrance "Nueva Maja" from 1960. It is still in its original cardboard sleeve, which features the famous Spanish lady with a fan, and is fitted with a glass stopper. The bottle is still sealed, though some of the fragrance has evaporated, which makes the history and age of the piece palpable.
Both bottles represent Myrurgia's exceptional collaboration with artists like Eduard Jener, who, among other things, designed the iconic label for the Maja line, inspired by the Spanish dancer Carmen Tórtola Valencia. This turned the perfume bottles into true works of art that capture Spanish culture and aesthetics and will shine on any collector's shelf.
The items show signs of use consistent with their age. Due to the age of the perfumes, no guarantee can be given for the quality of the fragrance. The perfumes are offered without a display.
