Collector's Set F. Wolff & Sohn: Brass Casket and Odonta Bottle, Karlsruhe, circa 1900. This set offers two rare, historical objects from the once famous perfumery and toilet soap factory F. Wolff & Sohn from Karlsruhe, which enjoyed international fame as a court supplier and at times Germany's largest cosmetics company around 1900, winning gold medals, such as at the Paris World Exhibition in 1900. These pieces are fascinating witnesses to this era. The small, 5.7 x 5.7 x 3.5 cm brass casket captivates with its antique relief ornamentation featuring horses and riders, surrounded by ornaments. The bottom is stamped "F. Wolff & Sohn - Karlsruhe - Germany". The luxurious interior is fully lined and padded with velvet, suggesting that the box served to present a particularly exclusive cosmetic item from the company. The second object is a 9 cm high, round glass vial for the famous mouthwash ODONTA. The embossed lettering confirms "F. Wolff & Sohn - Karlsruhe" and the product. The rare, original metal stopper serves as a screw dispenser, sealed with cork inside, and also features a company embossing. Odonta won the gold medal in Paris in 1900. Both objects are in beautiful condition commensurate with their age and form an attractive set for connoisseurs. Traces of use commensurate with age.
