French perfume case Victorian 1840 - 1860

French perfume case / necessaire (casket), tapered and made of leather and velvet (Victorian 1840 - 1860); on top a movable brass carrying handle; beautiful metal decoration and frame made of brass, inside lined with velvet and silk; inside 3 small Victorian bottles; two glass stoppers missing; closure of brass gilded inside; the velvet is mostly already worn off, nevertheless a very beautiful and rare object; the case bottom of leather standing on 4 brass feet; an absolute highlight in every bathroom; traces of use according to age (see photos); dimensions of the case: ca. 10 x 12 cm / dimensions of the bottles: approx. 6.7 cm high
