Products description
Immerse yourself in East German history with this exceptionally well-preserved collector's flacon from the GDR era of the 50s. This authentic piece is the famous Reine Eau de Cologne from the traditional brand Gustav Lohse Berlin with a content of 60 ccm, which is embossed directly on the bottom of the bottle. An absolute rarity in the field of historical fragrances is that the bottle is still originally sealed with the prominent golden emblem on the neck. The antique fragrance is partly present in the flacon, while the remaining portion has evaporated completely naturally over the past decades. The piece features a twist cap typical of the era, made of early plastic. A very special highlight for discerning collectors is revealed when looking through the clear glass at the back of the label, where there is a printed original signature of Gustav Lohse Berlin paired with the number 2069.
Signs of wear corresponding to age. The bottle is offered without a display and has dimensions of approx. 11 x 8.5 x 2.5 cm. This exclusive exhibit enriches any collection of historical cosmetics with a pristine and fascinating document of Berlin's post-war history.
