Products description
This fascinating 6-piece lot from the world-famous Cologne perfume manufacture 4711 Mülhens is an absolute rarity for collectors of historical objects and documents the glorious era of the brand between 1910 and 1930. The entire compilation impresses with its extraordinary original condition and contains true milestones of history. A special highlight is the large 15.5 cm high shop window factice in the classic 8-cornered Molanus design, which features an original bottom hole and delights with its existing red wax seal on the closure as well as the historical cursive embossed lettering Köln am Rhein. Also included in the set is a rare 13 cm Molanus flacon with the French collector's embossing Rue de la Cloche, which was specially manufactured for the export market. A green Frozoclone stick for solid Eau de Cologne in a glass container with a metal screw cap still bears an old auction sticker from 1999 on the bottom showing a value of 160 DM. A round pocket and watch flacon with an original metal dispenser and cork stopper as well as 2 charming miniature bottles, including the Schloss Rose line from 1920 with an intact label and a classic Blue Gold Double miniature, round off this museum-quality ensemble.
All 6 glass objects are empty and are ideally suited as noble decorative objects for sophisticated display cases or as a high-caliber addition to a historical glass collection. Signs of wear corresponding to age. The flacons are offered without a display.
