Vintage Miniatures Liz de Liz (c. 1960s) & Estée Lauder Youth-Dew (1953) – 7–7.5ml, Sealed, Floral Stopper
Here is a delightful duo of two fragrances that made perfume history, with their artfully crafted glass stoppers making them look like little jewels.
The first bottle is from Liz de Liz, Paris, a fragrance first introduced in 1945. This miniature holds about 7.5ml, is still originally sealed with its golden cord, and is nearly full—just a little has evaporated over the years. The glass stopper is especially beautiful, crafted from delicate frosted glass in the shape of a flower. This version is likely from the 1960s, as there is no raised embossing on the bottom of the bottle, but rather a printed note. At the same time, it still retains the charm of the early post-war era.
The second miniature is Youth-Dew by Estée Lauder, a fragrance classic launched in 1953 that revolutionized the perfume world. This small bottle is also originally sealed and nearly full, also featuring a floral-shaped glass stopper. The design is attributed to Ira Levy, who created several legendary bottles for Estée Lauder.
Together, these two miniatures tell a story of the golden age of perfume, when fragrances were still presented as small works of art. The combination of two bottles with a similar design language is particularly harmonious, making this set a charming choice for collectors.
Please note that there are signs of wear consistent with the age of the items, and due to their age, no guarantee can be made regarding the quality of the fragrance. The perfumes are sold without a display.
