Products description
Enrich your collection with these fascinating historical flacons from the House of 4711 Ferdinand Mülhens. This lot contains 2 exceptional flacons of the legendary Shahi, which was created in 1935 and is today among the most sought-after collector's items in Cologne's perfume history.
The first showpiece of the set is a large, rare glass flacon with a generous volume of 110ml, which, with its elegantly curved silhouette, represents the typical design of the introductory era from the late 1930s and 1940s. This flacon is equipped with an original integrated brass atomizer and a striking pink pump, giving the object a gorgeous boudoir aesthetic. Due to age, the original rubber bulb shows a slightly sticky surface, as is frequently the case with historical materials from this era. The second highlight is a geometrically rectangular 50ml flacon from the 1950s, which documents the design shift of the post-war period. This bottle features a vertically applied label and a fine golden screw cap. The diamond-shaped packaging design in the colors turquoise, gold, and white is an absolute classic of the late Wirtschaftswunder era around 1959. The box has a small hole on the top flap. Both collector's pieces are in an excellent age-appropriate condition and the filigree labels have been wonderfully preserved. Signs of wear corresponding to age; a guarantee on the fragrance quality cannot be assumed due to the age. The flacon is offered without a display. Dimensions: approx. 11 to 14.5 cm high
