Products description

This is an exceptional rarity from the early days of perfume history and a true piece of fragrance culture. This set includes two flasks from the Illusion series by Dralle of Hamburg, created between 1908 and 1911. The perfume bottles are preserved in their original and extremely rare lighthouse-shaped wooden packaging, complete with the cardboard, paper banderole, and even the original accompanying note. The top of the box screws onto the base, and the dome is adorned with a gold-embossed sticker that symbolically represents the lighthouse's light.

The Illusion series was alcohol-free and produced from the late 1900s into the 1930s. It was considered something very special because it reproduced the floral notes of nature as authentically as possible. This set contains two of these single-flower fragrances: Reseda with a golden label and Lilas (Lilac) with a purple label. Both bottles are made of elegant hexagonal glass, are about 4 ml in size, completely sealed, and closed with a glass stopper decorated with a delicate bird in flight—a poetic symbol that fits the era wonderfully.

The Dralle company was founded in Hamburg in 1852 by Georg Dralle and quickly developed into one of the most famous German perfume houses. Its creations stood for quality and refined craftsmanship. The Illusion line, in particular, is considered one of the most fascinating perfume experiments of that era, as it captured the purity of individual floral scents in a unique way.

This set combines not only two extremely rare fragrances but also the artistic presentation of a long-gone era. It is a museum-quality collector's item that embodies the magic of early perfume history in every facet.
