Products description

This is a very special piece of perfume history, waiting for collectors and lovers of historical fragrances.

The set consists of two early wooden lighthouse variations from the Dralle Illusion series, each with a characteristic hexagonal miniature flask of 4ml. One of them still has its original "Veilchen" (Violet) label; the bottle is sealed and full. The second lighthouse is missing its external label, but inside is a bottle with a "Maiglöckchen" (Lily of the Valley) label, which is empty.

However, the highlight of this set is six extremely rare Illusion lighthouses made of metal. These small treasures also date from around 1910 and can be unscrewed to reveal a sealed 2ml bottle inside each. Three of the bottles have the "Flieder" (Lilac) label, two have "Maiglöckchen" (Lily of the Valley), and one has "Kleeblüte" (Clover Blossom). Some of the contents have evaporated over the decades, but all the bottles are still originally sealed, providing an impressive testament to the art of perfumery in the early 20th century.

The Dralle brand from Hamburg was one of the most famous German perfume houses of its time. With the alcohol-free Illusion series, it created a range of lifelike "soliflore" fragrances that are highly prized by collectors today. The metal lighthouses, in particular, appear only very rarely and make this set an exceptional collector's item with a museum-like quality.

The items show signs of use consistent with their age. Due to the age of the perfumes, no guarantee can be given for the quality of the fragrance. The perfumes are offered without a display.
