Very rare vintage Tosca Sorena 4711 gift set "Pourquoi Pas", 1960 - 1970

Rare and charming 3-piece vintage gift set from the famous traditional brand Tosca by 4711 (Ferdinand Mülhens, Cologne), which stylistically perfectly represents the era of the late 1960s to 1970s. The special feature of this edition is the high-quality collector's box named "Pourquoi Pas" (German Mid-Century Tosca Sorena 4711 Collector's Ceramic Box with Lid), whose collector's box with lid is made of glazed ceramics and shows a characteristic, psychedelic-looking wave pattern in vibrant shades of blue and green. These ceramic boxes are highly sought after to this day.

The set is preserved in good collector's condition and consists of 3 perfectly coordinated elements. The label shows signs of abrasion. The centerpiece is the large, teardrop-shaped flacon with 50 ml (1.8 oz) Tosca Eau de Cologne, which is still fully filled. The ensemble is complemented by an elegant Tosca perfume miniature in the classic, cut fan shape as well as a small, unused heart-shaped motif candle decorated with a romantic couple motif typical of the era.
