Products description
This high-quality vintage compact powder case by Christian Dior is a refined collector's item dating from the 1970s to the 1980s. The gold-tone casing features a striking lid adorned with deep blue enamel and a fine wave-guilloché pattern. The casing is presumably gold-plated, as was customary for exclusive Dior luxury items during the 1970s and 1980s. The underside still retains its original label sticker with the shade name 630 Beige Saharien as well as the net weight details 8 g and 0,28 Oz.
The model was designed as a refillable compact. Inside, it features a rectangular mirror alongside the original powder puff showing age-related signs of use. The very heavy design weighs 200 g and measures approx. 7,5 x 6,2 x 1,8 cm. The lower left area displays the engraving Christian Dior Paris. A fascinating document of Parisian design history and an elegant addition to any sophisticated vintage collection; age-appropriate signs of wear; the item is offered without a display stand.
