Vintage Perfume Miniatures C'est la vie! by Christian Lacroix 1990

These exceptional miniatures of the fragrance C'est la vie! by Christian Lacroix are true design objects of the early 1990s. The fragrance itself was launched in 1990 and perfectly captures the opulent and baroque aesthetic of the French fashion designer.

The design of the bottle was created by the renowned glass artist Véronique Monod who is known for her organic and flowing shapes. The most striking feature is the glass cap representing a vibrant red coral heart. This design element is a conscious fusion of two powerful symbols of Provençal tradition: the heart shape references the beating heart as an expression of life passion (C'est la vie!) and votive offerings while the coral look recalls the deeply rooted protective talismans of the Mediterranean region.

The set consists of two different miniatures one a more concentrated Parfum version with 7.5ml and one the Eau de Parfum version with 5ml both bottles are almost full only the smaller 5ml bottle is missing a tiny amount of the fragrance. Such an ensemble enriches any collection with a piece of fashion history that blurs the line between perfumery and fine art.
