Yardley & Elizabeth Arden Powder Tins: Various Scents, 1930s–1950s

Three historical tin cans with powder from the brands Yardley and Elizabeth Arden; 30s to 50s. This charming small collection consists of three beautiful old tin cans for powder, dating from the 1930s to the 1950s. They are great promotional items and very decorative display pieces that bring nostalgic elegance to any bathroom or dressing table. The set includes two cans from the well known British brand Yardley. These two cans most likely date from the late 1930s or 1940s. One can is the popular English Lavender Talc Powder and is empty. The second can contains the scent April Violets Talc Powder and is still about half full. Dimensions of approximately 7 x 4 x 12 centimeters. The set is complemented by a very beautiful Elizabeth Arden Dusting Powder tin can in the fragrance Mémoire Chérie from the 1950s. The can is marked Made in England and is still almost full. Its dimensions are approx. 5.5 x 3 x 13.5 centimeters. Traces of use commensurate with age, a guarantee on the fragrance quality cannot be provided due to its age. The cans are offered without a display.
