This pair of binoculars is a piece of optical craftsmanship from the nineteenth century. Crafted from brass with an encompassing leather casing, one piece of leather is missing, and one is no longer glued and is movable. The dimensions are eleven by twelve centimeters when closed and approximately thirteen point five by twelve centimeters when opened, making it a model with comfortable handling. The mechanism of the focus wheel is slightly worn. The lenses are in good condition, although the typical age-related scratches are also present here. As with comparable antique pieces, the brass frame shows age-appropriate dents and signs of use.
