Products description

This original Schuco tin car "Kommando Anno 2000" originates from the late pre-war period around 1939 to 1941 and is a fascinating testament to early German toy and technical history. Manufactured by Schuco in Nuremberg this model shows the famous Kommando control, with which the vehicle was once steered via levers and springwork. The futuristic name Anno 2000 was at that time an expression of belief in progress and technical vision and had nothing to do with the actual year of manufacture.

The vehicle offered here is explicitly offered as a restoration object. The spring can no longer be wound up and the clockwork is currently not functional. The car shows significant signs of use, including rust spots on the tin, worn tires as well as age-related paint loss. It is a clearly played-with original with honest patina and no modern reproductions or repaints. Exactly these traces tell the story of a toy that was actually used and has survived decades.

The original base print with the international patent list and the designation "Schuco Kommando Anno 2000" is completely preserved and allows a reliable chronological classification before 1945. For collectors, restorers or lovers of pre-war tin toys this piece offers an excellent basis for professional refurbishment or as an authentic showpiece with history.
