New Babylonian stamp-seal made of red jasper; 7th-6th Century BC Chr .; decorated with two praying men in front of a fire altar; star or sun symbol at the top; probably an attribute of the god Nabu - Nabu was the patron saint of writing and the god of wisdom; a hole on the upper side to carry the seal on the body, small chip at a hole (see pictures); traces according to age and use; measurements: approx. 1.2 x 2 x 2.7 cm
