Mouson was one of Germany's oldest perfume factories, founded in the 18th century, and famous for the quality of its fragrances and its artistic flacons. This exceptional collection features eight historical bottles, primarily from the 1920s to the 1950s, telling the story of the brand.
This lot includes a fantastic variety of Mouson Lavender presentations:
Bottle 1 (c. 60ml): Fully preserved in its original box (which features a fine painting of the Old Bridge in Frankfurt and an authentic dealer label from Parfümerie Salon Plischke in Leipzig). The flacon has a balloon shape with a ribbed structure and a brass closure.
Bottle 2 (c. 100ml): Fully preserved, featuring the famous brass ball stopper. The original box, although slightly dented, carries the motif of the famous Post Coach, the brand's emblem.
Bottle 3 (c. 100ml): Slender in shape and partially filled. This bottle features an artfully decorated glass stopper with a coat of arms. The black original box is decorated with elegant golden shadow images of the Post Coach.
Bottle 4 (c. 50ml): Fully preserved and housed in a blue box. The bottle itself is a high-quality atomizer with fine brass mounting; the bulb is still elastic and functional.
Small Miniatures (2x): The set also includes two small Mouson Lavender bottles with ball stoppers: a 5ml miniature from the 1930s that is empty, and a larger 15ml miniature that is still fully preserved.
The collection is rounded off by two particularly rare and historical flacons:
Bambus Eau de Cologne: A rare flacon with approximately 25ml content, dating from the 1940s.
Tai Tai Miniature: This small flacon, dating from 1924, is still completely filled with about 7ml of the fragrance, reflecting the exotic spirit of the 1920s.
All bottles show well-preserved labels and beautifully showcase the history and design of J. G. Mouson & Co.
The items show signs of use consistent with their age.
Due to the age of the perfumes, no guarantee can be given for the quality of the fragrance.
The perfumes are offered without a display.
