This exceptional perfume bottle is from the famous Maderas de Oriente fragrance line, which Myrurgia launched in 1918 and which became a true classic in the 1920s and 1930s. The bottle itself was designed around 1929 by the company's founder, Esteve Monegal, while the iconic label was created by the Catalan artist Eduard Jener. With its elegant, cylindrical shape and delicate Art Deco elements, the bottle is now considered one of the finest examples of Spanish perfume history and has even been featured in the collections of major museums like the Disseny Hub Barcelona.
A small detail that makes this bottle so unique is particularly charming: inside, there is a bundle of fine sandalwood sticks, which enhances the scent and provides a subtle, warm aura. This bottle, which is approximately 15 ml and 7.5 cm high, is still originally sealed. While some of the contents have evaporated over the decades (as shown in the photos), it remains an impressive collector's item that perfectly embodies the magic of Myrurgia's early oriental-woody fragrance creations.
This is a valuable piece of perfume history that will delight both enthusiasts and collectors.
The item shows signs of use consistent with its age. Due to the age of the perfumes, no guarantee can be given for the quality of the fragrance. The perfumes are offered without a display.
