Products description

A refined and now rare bottle from the house of Guerlain: Shalimar in the iconic "Amphore" design. This elegant bottle shape, which was awarded at the 1925 Paris Exhibition of Decorative Arts, alludes to the Indian water basins of the legendary Shalimar Gardens—a symbol of the romantic story of Mumtaz Mahal and Shah Jahan.

The Extrait de Parfum offered here (approx. 25–30 ml) is originally sealed and full, with a height of approx. 10.5 cm. The bottle belongs to the later "Bat" variations, which were produced by Pochet et du Courval or Saint-Gobain starting in the 1950s.

The box is marked "Copyright Guerlain 1967," along with the number 30.090 and Contenance: 30%. On the bottom of the bottle, there is the characteristic French note ("Ce produit ne peut être vendu que par les dépositaires agréés..."), which was only used from the 1960s onward—a great detail for dating the piece.

The bottle is offered with its original box. It shows signs of use consistent with its age, but overall, it is a magnificent collector's item that perfectly combines history, design, and perfume artistry.

The item shows signs of use consistent with its age. Due to its age, no guarantee can be given for the quality of the fragrance. The perfume is offered without a display. Dimensions: approx. 10.5 cm high.
